- Zuko. A leather jacket wouldn't fit the medieval Asian "look" of the show, so he makes up for it with a facial scar linked to his tragic Back Story.

It was a constant stream of familiar Catch Phrases and references to the show, adjusted to fit their new characters (Jason Lee's character Smokey made a list of everyone he hurt and is trying to make up for it, Ethan Suplee's character Andrew calls Smokey "Brother" in the slang term, etc).
