Acronym and Word form

Acronym noun - A word formed from the initial letters of the several words in the name.

Word form and acronym are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Word form" instead a noun "Acronym".

Word form noun - The phonological or orthographic sound or appearance of a word that can be used to describe or identify something.

Acronym and word form are semantically related. Sometimes you can replace term "Acronym" with "Word form", this terms are similar.
