Ad-lib

Ad-lib verb - To perform, make, or do without preparation.

Make-do and ad-lib are semantically related. In some cases you can replace phrase "Make-do" with "Ad-lib", this phrases are similar.

Make-do

Make-do noun - Something contrived to meet an urgent need or emergency.

Ad-lib and make-do are semantically related. Sometimes you can use "Ad-lib" instead a verb phrase "Make-do".
