Affect

Affect verb - To act upon (a person or a person's feelings) so as to cause a response.

Simulated and affect are semantically related. In some cases you can replace term "Simulated" with "Affect", this verbs are similar.

Simulated

Simulated adjective - Being such in appearance only and made with or manufactured from usually cheaper materials.

Affect and simulated are semantically related. Sometimes you can use "Affect" instead a verb "Simulated".
