Analysis noun - The separation and identification of the parts of a whole.

Intellection and analysis are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Intellection" instead a noun "Analysis".

Intellection noun - The thought processes that have been established as leading to valid solutions to problems.
Usage example: ever since Decartes famously declared, “I think, therefore I am,” people have tended to regard acts of conscious intellection as proof of their own existence
