Apish adjective - Using or marked by the use of something else as a basis or model.
Usage example: whenever I smiled, the baby would respond with an apish grin

Man-made and apish are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Man-made" instead an adjective "Apish".

Man-made adjective - Being such in appearance only and made with or manufactured from usually cheaper materials.
