Bewailing adjective - Expressing or suggesting mourning.
Usage example: the doctor assured us that my father was not in any danger of dying, hence those bewailing looks on our faces were uncalled-for
Depressed and bewailing are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Depressed" instead an adjective "Bewailing".
