Bless verb - To make holy through prayers or ritual.
Usage example: the priest blessed the water, thus allowing it to be used as holy water for various rites
Curse
Curse verb - To ask a divine power to send harm or evil upon.
Usage example: I curse the guy who had the idea of having annoying salespeople call up innocent people to sell them things they don't want
