Catchword and Headword

Catchword noun - A word printed at the top of the page of a dictionary or other reference book to indicate the first or last item on that page.

Headword and catchword are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Headword" instead a noun "Catchword".

Headword noun - A word placed at the beginning of a line or paragraph (as in a dictionary entry).
