Cloudy adjective - Causing or marked by an atmosphere lacking in cheer.
Usage example: after his third failed marriage, he seemed destined to live the rest of his life in a permanently cloudy mood

Dreich and cloudy are semantically related. (Scottish) In some cases you can use "Dreich" instead an adjective "Cloudy".
