Counterfactual and Put-on

Counterfactual adjective - Going counter to the facts (usually as a hypothesis).

Put-on and counterfactual are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Put-on" instead an adjective "Counterfactual".

Put-on adjective - Lacking in natural or spontaneous quality.
