Covenant verb - To make a solemn declaration of intent.
Usage example: the home buyers had to covenant that they would restore and keep the house for at least 10 years in exchange for a low mortgage rate
Declare and covenant are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Declare" instead a verb "Covenant".
