Dallying
Dallying adjective - Moving or proceeding at less than the normal, desirable, or required speed.
Usage example: the dallying diners seemed oblivious to the fact that other customers were impatiently waiting for tables
Lingering and dallying are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Lingering" instead the word "Dallying" as an adjective or a noun.
