Deceiving adjective - Tending or having power to deceive.
Usage example: the deceiving nature of most flat maps of the globe causes some people to believe erroneously that Greenland is actually bigger than South America
Sly and deceiving are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Sly" instead an adjective "Deceiving".
