Defendable adjective - Capable of being defended with good reasoning against verbal attack.
Usage example: your thesis had better be defendable for the attacks are going to be withering

Well-grounded and defendable are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Well-grounded" instead an adjective "Defendable".
