Progress and entrances are semantically related. in introduction topic. In some cases you can use "Progress" instead a noun "Entrances".

The reason it's usually better to progress in the recommended order is this trope: The entrances to areas you shouldn't be in yet are guarded by enemy groups that'll wipe out a low-level party within seconds.
