Explode verb - To break open or into pieces usually because of internal pressure.

Squib and explode are semantically related. In some cases you can replace term "Squib" with "Explode", this verbs are similar.

Squib noun - Firework consisting of a tube filled with powder (as a broken firecracker) that burns with a fizzing noise.
