Face-off noun - An earnest effort for superiority or victory over another.

Scrum and face-off are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Scrum" instead a noun phrase "Face-off".

Usage example: when the server spilled a drink on a customer, they got into a bit of a scrum before being separated
