Fuse verb - To go from a solid to a liquid state.
Usage example: the lightning strike was so hot it caused the electrical wires to fuse and then drip onto the road
Gel
Gel verb - To turn from a liquid into a substance resembling jelly.
Usage example: the fruit juice should gel after you add the pectin
