Gut and Large intestine

Gut noun - The part of the body between the chest and the pelvis.

Large intestine and gut are semantically related. In some cases you can replace phrase "Large intestine" with "Gut", this terms are similar.

Large intestine noun - Beginning with the cecum and ending with the rectum; includes the cecum and the colon and the rectum; extracts moisture from food residues which are later excreted as feces.
