Imaginal adjective - Consisting of or relating to pictures.
Usage example: after a desensitizing series of imaginal exposures to the feared object, the phobic person is then exposed to the actual object

Visual and imaginal are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Visual" instead an adjective "Imaginal".
