Knowing adjective - Made, given, or done with full awareness of what one is doing.
Usage example: after giving knowing offense to people of Italian ancestry, he gave the lame excuse that it had all been a joke
Measured and knowing are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Measured" instead an adjective "Knowing".
