Lodged
Lodged adjective - Firmly positioned in place and difficult to dislodge.
Usage example: the rusty, old bolts were so well lodged that a power wrench was needed to extract them
Set and lodged are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Set" instead the word "Lodged" as an adjective or a verb or a noun.
