Nick verb - To take or keep under one's control by authority of law.
Usage example: a petty thief who was always getting nicked for picking the pockets of tourists outside Buckingham Palace
Rearrest and nick are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Rearrest" instead a verb "Nick".
