Obstruct
Obstruct verb - To prevent passage through by filling with something.
Usage example: at the moment the city's only tunnel between downtown and the airport is obstructed by an overturned tanker truck
Swamp and obstruct are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Swamp" instead a verb "Obstruct".
