Old-time adjective - Pleasantly reminiscent of an earlier time.

Prescriptive and old-time are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Prescriptive" instead an adjective phrase "Old-time".

Prescriptive adjective - Based on customs usually handed down from a previous generation.
Usage example: even in this age of e-mail the prescriptive response to a wedding gift is a handwritten thank-you note
