Out-of-the-way

Out-of-the-way adjective - Different from the ordinary in a way that causes curiosity or suspicion.

Transcendent and out-of-the-way are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Transcendent" instead an adjective phrase "Out-of-the-way".

Transcendent

Transcendent adjective - Being so extraordinary or abnormal as to suggest powers which violate the laws of nature.
Usage example: the star player's transcendent performance helped the team to a surprise victory
