Run into verb - Collide violently with an obstacle.

- The stories do not focus on a single ongoing plot, but characters from one story often pop up later in others as their interests coincide or run into conflict with each other.
Source: Podcast / Metamor City - The Beatles were well aware of the absurdities of pop stardom and more than willing to send themselves up, so any parody Beatles band is bound to run into this trope.

Unlike most examples, several of the people they run into in the "real world" fairly easily work out what they are, and don't find it especially outlandish that a group of fictional characters might pop out into the real world.
