Prosaic adjective - Being of the type that is encountered in the normal course of events.
Usage example: an author with a knack for finding something of interest in the most prosaic details of suburban life
Routine is a synonym for prosaic in ordinary topic. In some cases you can use "Routine" instead an adjective "Prosaic", when it comes to topics like dull, unimaginative.
