Prosaic adjective - Being of the type that is encountered in the normal course of events.
Usage example: an author with a knack for finding something of interest in the most prosaic details of suburban life
Trivial and prosaic are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Trivial" instead an adjective "Prosaic".
