Reasoning noun - The thought processes that have been established as leading to valid solutions to problems.
Usage example: your reasoning here is faulty, for although all wives are spouses, not all spouses are wives
Synthesis and reasoning are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Synthesis" instead a noun "Reasoning".
