Root word and Word form

Root word noun - (linguistics) the form of a word after all affixes are removed.

Word form and root word are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Word form" instead a noun phrase "Root word".

Word form noun - The phonological or orthographic sound or appearance of a word that can be used to describe or identify something.

Root word and word form are semantically related. Sometimes you can replace phrase "Root word" with "Word form", this phrases are similar.
