Sacred writing and Veda

Sacred writing noun - Writing that is venerated for the worship of a deity.

Veda and sacred writing are semantically related. In some cases you can replace term "Veda" with "Sacred writing", this terms are similar.

Veda noun - (from the Sanskrit word for `knowledge') any of the most ancient sacred writings of Hinduism written in early Sanskrit; traditionally believed to comprise the Samhitas, the Brahmanas, the Aranyakas, and the Upanishads.
