Slam noun - A hard strike with a part of the body or an instrument.
Takedown
Takedown noun - (amateur wrestling) being brought to the mat from a standing position.
Both words in one sentence
- Within wrestling itself (similar to the "body slam" example above) there are an unusually large number of commentators and columnists who don't know the difference between a headscissor takedown, Hurricanrana and Frankensteiner and will use the two interchangeably.
