Tack on and Wall off

Tack on verb - To join (something) to a mass, quantity, or number so as to bring about an overall increase.

Wall off and tack on are semantically related. In some cases you can use "Wall off" instead a verb "Tack on".

Wall off verb - To disallow entry into (a place) by means of a physical barrier at the entry point.
