Transfer verb - To put (something) into the possession or safekeeping of another.
Usage example: before she left the country, she transferred all her record books and important papers to her mother
Take
Take verb - To reach for and take hold of by embracing with the fingers or arms.
Usage example: take my hand, or we'll get separated in this crowd
