Of course, the episode has An Aesop of "guns are bad" (Jett's father, a sheriff, had to shoot a criminal on duty and is traumatized by the event), so in the end Jett and the entire remainder of the crew threaten to quit, so the producer has no choice but to scrap the episode and ditch the guns idea.
