Limit

Limit verb - To set bounds or an upper limit for.

Shut-in and limit are semantically related. In some cases you can replace phrase "Shut-in" with "Limit", this terms are similar.

Shut-in noun - Someone who is incapacitated by a chronic illness or injury.

Limit and shut-in are semantically related. Sometimes you can use "Limit" instead a verb phrase "Shut-in".
